Common questions answered.
Answers about research use, ordering, lab testing, and compliance.
What are VITAS research compounds intended for?
All VITAS products are manufactured and sold exclusively for in vitro laboratory research and scientific study. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, and are not approved by the FDA or any regulatory body for therapeutic use. Purchasers are required to be qualified researchers or institutions with appropriate facilities.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document issued by a qualified third-party laboratory that certifies the identity, purity, and quality specifications of a compound. VITAS provides COAs from accredited analytical laboratories for all available products. COAs include HPLC purity data, mass spectrometry confirmation, and batch numbers for full traceability.
How should peptide research compounds be stored?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at -20°C in a dry, dark environment. Once reconstituted, they should be stored at 4°C and used within the timeframe specified in the product documentation. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. NAD+ and other non-peptide compounds have specific storage requirements listed on their respective product pages.
How do I place an order?
You can order directly through the VITAS website. Browse the product catalog, select your compound and quantity, and proceed to checkout. All orders ship with temperature-controlled packaging. For institutional or bulk orders, please contact us via the inquiry form.
